Joel Barbee, a National Free Press editorial cartoonist, passed away last Thursday. He drew cartoons for the NFP since 2006. During his career he worked as a staff illustrator at the aerospace division of Ford Motor Company. He spent was a professional freelancer since 1970. His clients included Walt Disney, Hallmark, and Carls Junior.
