NCS Divisional Award Nominees for 79th Annual Reubens

National Cartoonists Society Divisional Awards

The National Cartoonists Society (NCS) has announced the finalists for the twelve 2024 Silver Reubens.

All eligible entries in each division were reviewed by multiple NCS chapter juries to determine the top nominees. Please note: the Art for Animated Media division was suspended for 2024 due to an insufficient number of qualified entries.

Advertising/Product Illustration finalists: Tyson Cole; Bill Morrison; Dave Whamond

Book Illustration finalists: Chuck Dillon; James Lyle; Danesh Mohiuddin

Comic Book finalists: Jeff Austin & Phil Miller; George Broderick, Jr.; Gideon Kendall

Editorial Cartoon finalists: Ruben Bolling; Rick McKee; Rob Rogers

Gag Cartoon finalists: Amy Hwang; Dan Misdea; Christopher Weyant

Graphic Novel finalists: Jay Fosgitt; Manu Larcenet; LeUyen Pham

Magazine and Newspaper Illustration finalists: Nick Galifianakis; Tom Richmond; Johnny Sampson

Newspaper Panel finalists: Dave Blazek; Wayno; Bill Whitehead

Newspaper Strip finalists: Jeff Parker; Dana Simpson; Ricardo (Liniers) Siri

Online Comics – Long Form finalists: Amy Kurzweil; David Milgrim; Sean Wang

Online Comics – Short Form finalists: Sarah Anderson; Jen Bateman; Reza Farazmand

Variety Entertainment finalists: Chuck Dillon; Patrick Merrell; Scott Underwood & Bob Weber, Jr.

Winners will be selected through a final vote open to all NCS members.

Winners will be announced at the 79th Annual Reuben Awards Dinner in Boston, MA on August 15th, 2025
