The National Cartoonists Society (NCS) travelled to Broom-Hilda country last November to deliver their Gold Key award (scroll down), signifying induction into the Society’s Hall of Fame, to cartoonist Russell Myers.

National Cartoonists Society President Karen Evans and Mark Habegger traveled to Oregon to deliver the NCS Gold Key and record a wonderful interview with Russell Myers regaling them with tales from the cartoonist about his career.

  3. I watched the YouTube video on my tv last night. It was interesting and very enjoyable. Russell mentioned the old comic strip, Sally Bananas, which I remember as a child. But it was so nice hearing him speak about his life and cartooning path.
