Luke Farookhi Chosen As New Spectator Political Cartoonist
Skip to commentsLuke Farookhi, a freelance caricaturist and illustrator, has emerged from The Spectator’s contest to find a new political cartoonist. He has been contributing cartoons since November.
According to The Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain, Luke is 36 years old and studied History of Art at Leeds University. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is currently the Managing Director at LCC Learning.

The Spectator held the contest after Morten Morland stepped away from cover illustration duties at the paper after 15 years. Since then, the magazine has tapped the talents of notable cartoonists including J.G. Fox, Ella Baron to provide cover art.
