The Rev. Mike Morgan put this week’s For Heaven’s Sake to use as a great tribute to President Jimmy Carter and highlighting a wonderful part of both men’s faiths.
The doctrine expressed trips up many a professed Christian, especially those of the political persuasion.

The today Mark Tatulli’s Lio and Paul Trap’s Thatababy put another classic comic strip character to use.
Bill Hinds introduced a not-so-new character in Tank McNamara to explain “Sports Jerk of the Year.”
As the week moves on there is a sort of reverse Dorian Gray effect. Hmmm, Bill Hinds, Basil Hallward.
Elsewhere Tom Wilson, Jr. may as well pay people for snark in Ziggy.

It seems Mara Llave, Keeper of Time will be returning. For how long remains a timely question.
Last month we passed on the news that The Phantom scripter Tony DePaul and daily artist Mike Manley would be revisiting The Origin of The Phantom. That new look at an old story starts Monday January 27, 2025.
