And Jules Rivera seems to be creating Mark Trail plots more and more from what-the-future-may-bring scuttlebutt or crazy congresspeople conspiracy conjecture.
I’m a big fan of hand lettered comic strips, but Wednesday’s Flo & Friends threw me.
I read that first balloon as “Did you know that hale and female…” on my first pass.
Scott Hilburn seems to be creating a mashup of the Christmas and Easter traditions with The Argyle Sweater.
Liniers on the other hand seems to be a couple months late with his Macanudo today, …
as I equate that being the time preceding All Hallow’s Eve as is the modern custom.
If you wonder why Wallace the Brave is featured here so often it is because of its combination of inventiveness, frequently hilarity, and always artistic qualities. Not to mention the heart-warming portrayal of childhood friendship.
Whereas Scary Gary is a must-read as an antidote to sweetness.
Have we noted that though Fort Knox ended November 10, 2024 Stars and Stripes continues to publish the comic strip. They apparently take old Sundays and scrub the date, copyright, and syndicate credits and print them in their weekend editions. I hope Paul Jon is seeing some form of recompense. As far as I can determine Stars and Stripes is the only outlet still running the strip.
Early Christmas Present: Peanuts Panels
Mondo Shop has had some Peanuts panels by Charles M. Schulz as posters for sale.
Which reminds me that when I featured 2025 calendars here the other day…
