Institute of Cartoonists Celebrates Two Major Milestones
Skip to commentsThe Indian Institute of Cartoonists is celebrating its 200th cartoon exhibit as well as the release of the third edition of their flagship publication “CartoonistsIndia Annual 2024.”
The exhibit will feature the work of cartoonist M.S. Ramakrishna whose work was published in “Shankar’s Weekly“, “Caravan“, and “Woman’s Era“.
According to Kashmir Images, “CartoonistsIndia Annual 2024” is a magazine with more than a 100 pages with “tributes to renowned cartoonists like Abu Abraham, Ahibhushan Malik, Gopulu, Kerala Verma, and international icons André Franquin, Harvey Kurtzman, and Jack Davis.”
The Indian Institute of Cartoonists is the first cartoonist association in India with the purpose of promoting cartooning.
