Comics Kingdom Submission Guidelines

Comics Kingdom (CK) has issued submission guidelines for cartoonists attempting to get placed on the CK digital platform – a great step toward being distributed to print newspapers by King Features Syndicate.

King Features Editorial Director Tea Fougner introduces the submissions guidelines with a few do’s and don’ts.

Friends, we are so excited to introduce our official submission guidelines to Comics Kingdom!

You may have noticed that we now publish several new comics every year. We want to bring the best comics to our readers everywhere, and this is where YOU come in!

If you’ve got a comic up your sleeve, you can send a submission packet to us and we’ll consider your comic for inclusion on Comics Kingdom. All the instructions you need to get your submission ready are available on the submissions page.

Tea’s introduction continues with “What Sort of Comics Are We Looking For?” The short answer is “all sorts of comics,” though Tea get into more specifics and offers tips to make submissions more attractive to the editors.

And if you missed that link above that Tea provided here, again, is the link to Submit Your Comics.

The Submit Your Comics page includes:

PUBLISHING WITH COMICS KINGDOM (Make money from day one; No scheduling or coding needed – working with an editorial team; Get cool author tools; Work with the Mechandising Shop)

  1. I was submitting my strip to Comic Sherpa on Go Comics a few years ago until they shut it down. It was great for amateurs like myself. This doesn’t look like the same thing, but nevertheless it’s a nice carrot for newbies.
