Looking Forward to a New Calendar Year

It’s time to remind our readers that the upcoming new year requires a new comics-related calendar.

How do I know, because sports cartoonist Drew Litton is appearing on Channel 9 showing off his 2024 calendar. But Drew isn’t the only one with a “winning” calendar – Keith Knight, for 2024, highlights “Life’s Little Victories.”

What better way to illustrate your new 2024 calendar than to reproduce an ancient Aztec calendar on the cover, though Lalo Alcaraz may have substituted some faces and figures. While Patrick McDonnell wants to create memories with his 2024 desk calendar with 200 comic strips and additional inspirational quotes (a wall calendar is also available).

Making memories is good, so is reliving memories; and Pomegranate allows us to do that with Edward Gorey and Charles Addams among the choices of their art calendars.

More monthly memories from Hogan’s Alley (half off at the moment) and Asgard Press classic comic calendars.

Of course Andrews McMeel Publishing is much more than books, they’ve made an annual habit of creating wall and desk calendars featuring many of your favorite comic strips and panels. Many appear on Amazon’s best sellers list.
