AAEC: State of the Organization

New Association of American Editorial Cartoonists President Jack Ohman has issued an opening statement for his two year term on progress and objectives.

Partnerships as far as conventions, with Cartoon Columbus Crossroads and the Association of Canadian Cartoonists in the past, will continue to be neccessary:

In my view, it is important for us to retain our AAEC identity in any future arrangements, and an AAEC/NCS alliance is probably going to look more like a joint convention effort more than anything else.
