The above art by Jules Feiffer is from a September 2022 edition of Dan’s Papers,
but the interview conducted by Dan Rattiner for his podcast is this month new.
Dan asks Jules about a few of his more than a dozen awards – the Academy Award-winning Munro, his special George Polk Award, and his Pulitzer Prize. His Village Voice years are mentioned. Jules says his interest in cartooning began at age 3 and 90 years later it has only intensified. He discusses his switch to graphic novels and his Kill My Mother trilogy.
Best of all is news of his current project – a children’s book The Mommy (Mommie?) Dimension.
