The turning of the calendar page saw Pickles by Brian Crane switch distributors.
On June 30, 2022 (above) it was part of the Washington Post Writers Group,
on July 1, 2022 (below) it became an Andrews McMeel Syndication comic strip.

The only giveaway is the miniature syndication slug in the first gutter of the strips.
As of this writing…
… there is no story about it on the GoComics Blog.
… no mention on their social media Facebook or Twitter sites.
… it isn’t listed among the AMS strips offered on their page.
… and it remains on the WPWG page of featured comic strips.
It all seems strange.
For a comic strip distributed to nearly 1000 clients this should be NEWS.
