Cartoonist Tony Saltzman has passed away.

From the obituary:

On March 24, 2022, Anthony “Tony” Saltzman of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly at the age of 83.

Tony had a wonderfully witty and dry sense of humor which led him to a career in cartooning. His cartoons have appeared throughout the years in over 300 magazines and publications including TV Guide, Modern Bride and Playbill.

Tony’s cartoons in the TV Guide led to a syndicated feature in 1965.

The syndicated panel Heptiles ran from January 4, 1965 to sometime in 1967.
