How Many Days into This Did Pat Bagley Think…

The first edition of what is now called The Tribune hit the streets on April 15, 1871.
It was called “The Tribune & Utah Mining Gazette.”

As part of the Sesquicentennial Celebration cartoonist Pat Bagley created a poster.

Thoughts on seeing stuff like this are (1) how long did this take to complete?
And (2) at some point does the enthusiasm drain from the artist?

The poster is available until supplies run out:

For The Salt Lake Tribune’s 150th anniversary, donate $50 or more today and receive a copy of the above 16″ x 20″ Pat Bagley-designed poster celebrating 150 years of Utah history. Only 500 available.
