Maria started Half Full as a webcomic appearing at the GoComics site on September 16, 2013. Before 2013 was over the panel was appearing in the Greenwich Time and the Stamford Advocate newspapers. A year and a half later, on March 15, 2015, Half Full began syndication from Tribune Content Agency. Half Full was the first comic TCA had signed since 2008 – seven years.

Like most panels these days Half Full is offered in vertical or horizontal formats.

As stated in the press release Maria Scrivan is also an author. Her series starring Natalie has two books out with a third scheduled for this Summer. As the syndicate switch is going on Maria is busy putting the finishing touches on Absolutely Nat (#3). Maria tells us she has begun work on book four. Happy to see the books, like the Half Full panel, have become a successful part of her career.
