NCS Requests Hashtag Uniformity for Sunday’s First Responder ‘Big Thank You’ Project

NCS President Jason Chatfield has just sent an email to the members regarding this Sunday’s “Big Thank You Search of 2020” that will feature syndicated and web cartoonists including various hidden objects inside their comics as a way to salute first responders in these crazy, crazy times. Here’s the email in its entirety:

Dear NCS Members,

Thank you to all of you who have responded and are taking part in the— hiding icons in your cartoons for  Sunday, June 7th.

If you missed the announcement back in April, you can read about it it here. It isn’t too late to get involved: https://www.dailycartoonist.com/index.php/2020/04/28/ncs-planning-sunday-comic-event-to-honor-crisis-workers/

We’d like to offer some suggested hashtags below for your posts on the day. Please don’t promote or publicize the event any more before the day, as we have some major media outlets running stories on it and we don’t want to compromise the exclusives we have with them if possible.

Suggested hashtags:

#BigThankYouSearch #coronacomicsearch #searchgames #hiddenpictures #coviddonations #coronadonations #covidcartoon #coronacomic #coronacomics #coronacartoon #coronacartoons  #coronamemes  #quarantinecartoons #quarantinecomics #quarantoons  #thankyoucoronawarriors

Thank you, and stay safe.

Jason
