Steenz Interviewed on NPR’s ‘Here & Now’

WBUR’s “Here and Now” interviews the new cartoonist for “Heart of the City,” Christina “Steenz” Stewart.

From the WBUR site:

Christina “Steenz” Stewart is one of the few women of color to draw a daily nationally syndicated comic strip now that she’s taken over “Heart of the City” — a comic about a white girl growing up in Philadelphia.

Steenz (@oheysteenz) talks with Here & Now’s Tonya Mosley about how she wants the strip to reflect diversity but also tell stories that are “eternal.”
