Ranan Lurie couldn’t have drawn a more perfect view from his 63rd-floor Manhattan apartment, which serves as his office and studio.
Now the political cartoonist is about to put the two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom apartment at Time Warner Center on the market for just under $5 million. The listing is set to be made public in early January, according to agent Danielle Lurie of Compass. Ms. Lurie, the artist’s daughter, is representing the property with Allison Sprouse.
As seen above it has a perfect spot to set up your drawing table.
Mansion Global does mention Ranan’s accomplishments:
“He has drawn cartoons since he was able to speak and draw,” Ms. Lurie said. “That turned into a career as being the No. 1 most-syndicated political cartoonist in the entire world.”
Indeed, for about 10 years, he held the record for being the most widely syndicated political cartoonist in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. His work has been published in more than 1,000 international publications.
Ranan and wife Tamar will retire to their Central Park West condo just down the road.
