Noticed and Noted – Comic Strip Miscellany

September 27, 2019: The first B.C. strip where the Fat Broad is addressed as Jane appeared.
Last month we told you we would explain the name choices.
Pretty simple really.
Bobby’s mom was Janie Indiana Finch.
Johnny’s mom was Grace Anna Brown.Patti and Perri thought it would be nice to honor their grandmothers in the strip and Mason and Mick were totally on board!
‘Jane’ fits the Fat Broad best because Johnny had often said that he patterned her disdain of snakes after his mother-in-law.
You see… “Miss Janie” could pummel a rattlesnake to death with a broom!
And ‘Grace’? Well, it’s the perfect name for the Cute Chick.
Grandma Hart, “Muddy” was only 5 feet tall and a ‘graceful’ roller skater!
