May 4 is Free Comic Book Day 2019
Skip to commentsToday, May 4, 2019, is Free Comic Book Day!
Along with the ones shown here there are plenty of superhero comic books too.
Visit your local comic book shop and get freebies for the kiddies.
As for you homebodies, there is free stuff also.
If haven’t read an issue of the wonderful Hogan’s Alley Magazine,
Free Comic Book Day provides you with the opportunity for a free issue.
Tom Heintjes makes an offer (and you don’t have to leave the comfort of home):
Dear fellow comics fan:
If you’re reading this, you probably know that this Saturday, May 4, is Free Comic Book Day. And you know what that means! But we don’t want to you have to go out and needlessly engage with the humans, so let us lift that burden with the offer we extend each year at this time: Simply send us an e-mail (hoganmag@gmail.com) ON THAT DATE with your mailing address, and we’ll send you a FREE issue of Hogan’s Alley! No obligations, no strings attached; the only thing it will cost you is several hours as you enjoy the issue. (This offer is valid for all U.S. residents, whether you’re a current subscriber or not.) If you’ve taken us up on this offer before, you know there’s only one condition: We must receive your e-mail request on Free Comic Book Day (May 4), not the day before or the day after. (As always, before and after that date, any requests for freebies will receive only scorn and derision.) So that’s 24 hours to act.
You may want to set the email heading as: Free Comic Book Day
