A Visit to the Andrews McMeel Offices

This past weekend [Cedric Hohnstadt] drove down to Kansas City, MO for the Fall Cartooning Weekend sponsored by the North Central Chapter of the National Cartoonists Society. The main event was an afternoon of lectures hosted at the offices of comic book syndicate Andrews McMeel Universal, the company behind GoComics [and The Daily Cartoonist].

Cedric was kind enough to share the experience with the rest of us.

Among the speakers was Wiley Miller who talked about his Non Sequitur comic.

Wiley invented a new comic strip format with his vertical and horizontal panel.

Don’t say Cedric doesn’t give us the complete tour.

Many more annotated photos at the National Cartoonists Society North Central Chapter.

Hat tip and big thanks to Cedric for letting us in on the fun.
