Al Goodwyn returns to the Aiken Standard

After more than a decade cartoonist and illustrator Al Goodwyn‘s editorial cartoons are returning to the Aiken (S.C.) Standard.

Goodwyn, who was the cartoonist for the Standard in the late ’90s and early 2000s, will provide insight in a humorous way on local, state and national topics.

His cartoons will regularly appear twice a week in the Standard.

Al is a regular contributor to the Washington Examiner, including covers.

His political cartoons are also picked up by the Fredericksburg (Va.) Free Lance-Star.

Last Fall Mike Rhode interviewed Al about his career as an ed-op cartoonist.

Al’s cartoons (gag and opinion) and illustrations can be enjoyed at his Confederacy of Drones website.
