Podcast: Episode 234 ? Bill Morrison

Tom Racine’s latest Tall Tale Radio podcast episode is now available. Head over to Tall Tale Radio and give it a listen. In this episode:

Episode 234 – Bill Morrison

Bill Morrison, whose artistic resume would take up several blog posts by itself, joins me to talk about his amazing career and the path it has taken.  From working in Detroit, Michigan doing car manual illustrations, to air brush illustration in Los Angeles, to movie poster creation, to Disney, to The Simpsons, to Futurama, to his own comics, and always a life as a fine artists and painter, Bill has done it all.  He’s earned the right to have a gigantic ego, but he waived that right long ago because he’s the nicest dude in the world. He’s the Creative Director at Bongo Comics, the publisher of years of amazing “Simpsons” related stories and art.

Bill and I met at the Kenosha Festival of Cartooning, and I’m honored to have him on the show to go into more detail about his art. He’s also the current president of The National Cartoonists Society, and his latest comic from Dark Horse Comics, “Dead Vengeance” is on issue 2 of 4, and is something you should run out and buy if you’re a fan of old school detective/horror/sci-fi comics.
