Just a reminder for those living in and around Kenosha, WI (or have airline miles to burn), that this weekend is the Kenosha Festival of Cartooning.
Organizer Anne Morse Hambrock has a very strong and entertaining line-up that will include gag cartoonist Mark Anderson, editorial cartoonist and creator of Candorville and Rudy Park, Darrin Bell, Stone Soup creator, Jan Eliot, Bongo Comics creative Directory (and National Cartoonist Society President) Bill Morrison, advertising illustrator and MAD Magazine contributor Ed Steckley and Lio and Heart of the City Mark Tatulli.
Visit the website for more information and program schedule.
Correction: The post originally omitted Darrin Bell from the line-up of speakers. I copy/pasted from an earlier post, which means I’ve either omitted him twice or he was added at a later date. Either way, my apologies to Darrin.
Hope to be there someday!
(Ahem)
Alan, you should have said that there was a very strong and entertaiing lineup, and that Darrin Bell would also be there.
