Stan Lee rushed to hospital; still attends Ant-Man premier

From Comicbook.com:

Sources for TMZ say the 92-year-old was “taken from his Hollywood Hills home to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center” yesterday. As of now, the reason for the emergency call to 911 isn’t clear.

Lee was feeling well enough to be interviewed at the premiere, showing no signs of being under the weather. Actually, he was very upbeat and talkative like he normally is. He even quipped, “The only reason I came was to see my cameo.”

For 92, he’s can still quip with the best.

  1. I’m going to miss that guy when he’s gone. When I was growing up, he was the voice of Marvel on TV. I had no idea who he was at the time. It wasn’t until decades later that I read his work (which was mostly just characters explaining to the reader what Jack Kirby had drawn).

His voice-overs on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and The Hulk cartoons will always be golden childhood memories for me.
