Journalist Jake Tapper draws cartoons Roll Call’s 60th anniversary

I knew reporter/journalist/news anchor Jake Tapper had inspired to be a cartoonist, I wasn’t aware that he was once a cartoonist for Roll Call. That aside, the paper asked him to provide a cartoon for their 60th anniversary, which he did (see below).

I think Jake might be a candidate for the National Cartoonists Society’s ACE Award given to a “celebrity or notable who aspired at one time to become a cartoonist, but whose path led them to an entirely different career.” The last person to win this award was Weird Al Yankovich.
