Check out A Case for Pencils – New Yorker cartoonists show what tools they use

I found the “A Case for Pencils” blog this morning via Michael Maslin’s Inkspill. It’s a blog where New Yorker cartoonists show the tools and process they use for their cartoons. Some are more in-depth than others. The latest one from Shannon Wheeler is excellent. Photo below is one from Shannon’s process.
