Mother Goose and Grimm has turned 30. The strip created by Mike Peters officially turned 30 years old yesterday (or 210 in dog years) and to commemorate the milestone, Mike has created a special two week series on how it all began that will start in newspapers on Monday, Oct. 6.
Here’s a teaser:
Mother Goose and Grimm is about an irrepressible and unrepentant rebel dog named Grimmy who lives with the long-suffering caretaker Mother Goose and a high-strung cat named Attila. It’s a perfect strip for the zany and unpredictable Mike Peters who’s one of America’s greatest cartoonists.
The feature runs in over 500 papers, according to King Features.
Congratulations to Mike Peters on 30 years of zany fun! It had me hooked from the beginning. It was right about that time when I met Mike for the first time, and I have been a fan of Grimmy and Mike ever since. Here’s to 30 more, pal!
Congrats on 30 years Mike. A favorite daily read here in the studio. Looking forward to the back story arc.
Congratulations to Mike Peters on 30 years !!!
