Cartoonist Rights Network International awards courage award to Indian and Palestinian women

For the first time ever, The Cartoonists Rights Network International has awarded its Courage in Editorial Cartooning to a woman – two women in fact. This year the awards go to Indian cartoonist Kanika Mishra and Palestinian cartoonist Majda Shaheen. Both women worked against great opposition and threats to their lives.
