SpongeBob headstones restored after tussle

I saw this story last year, but doesn’t look like I linked to it. Background: Army Sgt. Kimberly Walker, a big fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, was murdered last Valentines Day. Her family erected a large SpongeBob SquarePants headstone over her grave site. The cemetery initially approved the headstone, but after complaints they later removed them. Months later, the issue has been resolved. The statues are back, but hidden behind large granite slabs so the statues aren’t visible from passersby.

WLWT has video, photos and complete ongoing history of this dispute.
