Frozen wins Golden Globe; Despicable Me 2 wins Peoples Choice Award

We’re well into the big awards season. Last night was the Golden Globes. The People’s Choice awards were last Wednesday.

In the category of Animated Film, Disney’s Frozen was the Golden Globe winner beating out The Croods and Despicable Me 2. I saw Frozen in the theater over the holidays. It’s a great film. One of the better Disney films of late.

The People’s Choice doesn’t have an animation category, but Despicable Me 2 did win the “Favorite Family Movie” beating out Monsters University, Oz the Great and Powerful, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and The Smurfs 2.
