DreamWorks to make Captain Underpants movie

The children’s book that is number one target of banning in America is going to be a feature animation film by DreamWorks Animation. Hollywood Reporter reports DreamWorks Animation has signed Rob Letterman to direct a film adaptation of the children’s book Captain Underpants. Nicholas Stoller was tapped to write the script for Captain Underpants. Rob was the director for Shark Tale and Monsters vs. Aliens.
Captain Underpants was created by Dav Pilkey in 1997 and the series has eight books in print now.
