Daily Cartoonist

Request for help in next week’s Indiegogo campaign

As you know, The Daily Cartoonist operates much like NPR – it’s always there, always free and runs an infrequent annual guilt-trip induced fund-raiser to help cover costs of running the blog. I’m gearing up for a big “Fund The Daily Cartoonist for 2014” campaign set to launch next week. Because I don’t produce a tangible product, I’m short in the area of incentives to offer donors for the various funding levels. I dislike asking for help so on my post on Monday detailing my goals for next year, I buried a request for help to the very bottom. Many cartoonist have contacted me and I’ve reached out to a few friends of the blog, but I’m going to need a bit more help to make this a success.

If you’re willing to help out, I’d highly appreciate it. Anyone donating incentives will get multiple shout-outs before, during and after the campaign on the Indiegogo site, this blog and via Twitter and Facebook. If you have spare books, sketches, original art or other cartoon related products you’d be willing to donate, I’d be most grateful.

Please email me if you’d like to help out. Thank you!
