The minions of Despicable Me are getting their own feature film. Animated views the movie is slated for a summer 2015 release.

I like the minion characters. They’re a pot of yellow comedic gold, I tell you. Despite thinking they got too much screen time in Despicable Me 2, having a movie dedicated to them has potential as they won’t be distracting to the plot if they ARE the plot.
