Trudeau’s show picked up by Amazon; taking sabbatical

Amazon has announced that one of the five pilots that will be developed into a series is Garry Trudeau’s Alpha House.

Michael Cavna reports that Garry will be taking a summer sabbatical to work on the shows. The show features four big name actors such as John Goodman, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson and Matt Malloyand, The pilot also had Bill Murray and Stephen Colbert as guest stars.

  3. Wow, Amazon has its own TV production studio? I had no idea. So they are joining other web heavyweights like Netflix, YouTube and Yahoo in developing actual content.
