For me the key has been balancing catering to all kinds of media and markets while keeping my own art and writing style intact. If anything – I think it proves it’s harder to be a single media cartoonist today – you’ve got to be open to multiple revenue channels. Mark’s career has spanned magazines, greeting cards, webcomics, books, ebooks, calendars, and custom work for clients.
