Kenosha Festival to include exhibit and silent auction
Skip to commentsAnne Hambrock has announced that the Kenosha Festival of Cartooning will include an exhibit of original comic art (and opening reception) at the Kenosha Public Museum and a silent auction with the proceeds going to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Margaret Ann’s Place. The auction is being sponsored by the National Cartoonist Society Foundation.

Cartoon Art is arriving for the gallery show “More Than Funny” which will run at the Kenosha Public Museum from September 8 – September 29.
There will be an opening reception Sunday, September 9 from 1-4 pm.
We have art promised from Family Circus, Baby Blues, Luann, Zits, Pearls Before Swine, Funky Winkerbean, For Better or For Worse, Lola, Rhymes With Orange, Speed Bump, The Buckets, MAD Magazine, Between Friends, Pooch Cafe, The Norm, Retail, Gil, Lio, and many more.
There will be a silent auction of many of these strips Saturday evening, September 29 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Rhode Center for the Arts. The auction is sponsored by the National Cartoonist Society Foundation and the money raised will go to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Margaret Ann’s Place.
