I have to admit, Tom Gammill certainly does visit some interesting places. I love seeing the studios of various famous cartoonists.
A gem!
Tom, you’re a doozy.
It’s good to see Mort. I take any excuse available to recommend Mr. Walker’s book “Backstage at the Strips” as one of the best books about cartooning and being a cartoonist, particularly during the art form’s mid-century Golden Age. It’ll make you wish you were sitting on the porch sipping martinis with Mort, Dik, Rube and Milt.
Might as well add an Oscar to your crowded trophy case, Mr. Walker. Is there anything you can’t do?! Funny stuff, guys…keep ’em comin’!
Mort (and Tom) are tops in my book!!!
