Andrews McMeel, the parent company and publishing company behind Universal Uclick, has announced that they will be releasing a paperback edition of “The Complete Calvin and Hobbes” by Bill Watterson in November. The paperback set will contain four-volumes in a slip-case and contain every Calvin & Hobbes cartoon published during the 10 year run of Watterson’s feature. Retail price is set for $100.
The hard cover edition was released in 2005 as a three-volume set priced at $150. It sold more than 600,000 copies and was a New York Times best-seller. You can still buy the hard cover edition from Amazon.com for $91.77.
