Public memorial planned for Rex Babin

A public memorial will be held to honor the Sacramento Bee’s late editorial cartoonist Rex Babin who passed away on March 30 at the age of 49 after a year-long battle with cancer. The memorial service will include editorial cartoonists Joel Pett (Lexington Herald-Leader) and Jack Ohman (Portland Oregonian) as speakers. The event will be in Sacramento on April 15.

As a reminder, an education fund has been set up for his son, Sebastian.
