All Itchy and Scratchy segments in one video

Got 48 minutes with nothing to do? Me neither. But for those that do, it’s nice that someone took the effort to compile all(?) the Itchy and Scratchy segments from The Simpsons into one video.

  1. I watched it in fits and starts throughout the day, and there’s at least one episode missing: “My Bloody Valentine,” in which Itchy rips Scratchy’s heart out of his chest and gives it to him as a Valentine’s Day present. Scratchy takes it home, puts it on a shelf, and picks up a newspaper, the headline of which reads, “You need a heart to live,” At which point he expires horribly. One of my favorites.

  2. Watching some Tom and Jerry reruns on cable TV, much of the parody isn’t too far from the original cartoon, with just a bit more blood. I was surprised by that because I didn’t remember T&J that way.

  3. On the episode where Scratchy finally gets Itchy, they should’ve included the part where one of the nerds who Homer invited unplugged the TV because they needed to plug in the rock tumbler.

Bart/Lisa: PLUG IT IN! PLUG IT IN!
Nerd: What, the rock tumbler or the TV?
    Bart/Lisa: THE TV! THE TV!

They also should’ve gotten Bart and Lisa screaming when they missed the ending and Krusty announced that they can’t show it again for a million years.

  4. that’s awesome! love Itchy and Scratchy!
