Berndt Toast Gang celebrates Creig Flessel 100th birthday

The Berndt Toast Gang is honoring one of their founding members, Creig Flessel, with an exhibit of his work during the month of January. The 26 piece exhibit is on display Art League of Long Island throughout the month with a reception on the 27th with other Long Island NCS chapter members displaying their take on Creig. That event is free to the public.

Creig passed away in 2008. He spent his career in comic books and magazine illustration and cartoons.

  1. Note to those considering dropping in: Creig Flessel’s work “in the flesh” is amazing. If you want to see real mastery of the comic medium, don’t miss it.

And of course, it all looks effortless? sheesh!
