Cartoon Art Museum hosts Knight, Pastis

I mentioned this event back in November, but if you’re in the San Francisco Bay area don’t forget to put the Cartoon Art Museum’s Black and White and Read All Over exhibit on your calendar. The museum is also hosting Keith Knight and Stephan Pastis on the 12th of January wherein they’ll discuss their comics and careers.

The other comics on display include:

La Cucaracha by Lalo Alcaraz
Ollie and Quentin by Piers Baker
Arctic Circle by Alex Hallatt
The Knight Life by Keith Knight
Dustin by Jeff Parker & Steve Kelley
Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis
Tina’s Groove by Rina Piccolo
Lio by Mark Tatulli
Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson

The exhibit opened last month and runs through May 6.

  1. Nice. I am a HUGE fan of both Knight and Pastis. As an aspiring cartoonist, they are definitely two from my list of cartoonists who’s work really inspires me.

  2. Alan, you’ve got a typo in your headline – “Museum”.

I also am fans of Pastis and especially Knight, but live on the wrong coast.

  3. I’d so love to go to this, but I live on the wrong continent…

  4. As added incentive, Keith, Stephan and I are going to be doing shots beforehand, so everyone should be really chatty by start time.
