WB releases first images of new Superman

Faster than a speeding locomotive, news (and photo) is spreading across the internet of the newly released teaser photo of Henry Cavill as the new Superman in the slated 2013 release of the movie Man of Steel

The following are the cast members so far (or rumored where indicated)

Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Russell Crowe (Jor-El – rumored), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), Michael Shannon (General Zod), Christopher Meloni (rumored), Julia Ormond (Lara Lor-Van), Antje Traue (Faora – rumored) and Harry Lennix (General Swanwick – rumored)

Release date set for June 14, 2013.

  6. I just found out that recent Bat-movies director Christopher Nolan is producing this. That explains the darkness.
