Matt Bors, Tjeerd Royaards spend month in Haiti

Cartoon Movement’s editorial team Matt Bors and Tjeerd Royaards are nearing the end of a month long stint in Haiti for a comics journalism project. The team hopes to a create a long-running comic chronicling problems facing Haiti that will be released in early 2012. They’ve posted six updates on the blog regarding their experiences there so far which includes a precious photo of what looks like a stare down between Martha Stewart (yes THE Martha Stewart) and Matt. According to one of Matt’s tweets, Martha didn’t appreciate the line of questioning about sweat shops.
