Clay Bennett wins Green Eyeshade Award

Chattanooga Times Free Press editorial cartoonist Clay Bennett was awarded this year’s Green Eyeshade Award for editorial cartooning. The Green Eyeshade Award is presented by the regional Society of Professional Journalists covering Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

This is Clay’s second win in two years and fourth in his career. Second place went to Robert Ariail of the Spartanburg (SC) Herald-Journal and Jeff Parker of Florida Today came in third.
