Aussie cartoonists coming to aid of flood victims

Arctic Circle creator Alex Hallatt writes in:

It’s too early to know how to help in the Christchurch/Lyttelton earthquake, but in the meantime we are continuing to help people affected by the devastating Australian floods. Cartoonists in the Australian Cartoonists Association have contributed artwork for auction for the Premier’s Flood Appeal. I’ve put up an original cartoon in a series inspired by the floods we have experienced. You can bid from any country on eBay.

You can bid on Alex’s original Arctic Circle comic on eBay. As of Wednesday morning at 9:30 am (MST) – it’s going for $100 – an excellent price for an original.

  1. Great work Alex. You can also go to the auction website set up by the Australia Cartoonists Association giving a bio of each cartoonist featured and a ton of work on offer by some of Australia’s top cartoonists. The link is: http://floodlines.com.au/

  2. Thanks for that, Phil – I wrote that all in a hurry (I used to live in Lyttelton and this earthquake has shaken us all as we wait for news from friends) – the link is on my blog and the Floodlines website is excellent. All the best Aussie cartoonists are on there.
