10 NCS members heading to San Antonio

Perhaps not as dangerous as going to Iraq, the effort is no less important. Ten members of the National Cartoonists Society will be heading to San Antonio, TX the first week of March to draw cartoons for soldiers and their families at Brooke Army Medical Center, the Audie Murphy VA Hospital and The Center for the Intrepid. Organized by Navy Times cartoonist Jeff Bacon, the volunteers going on this USO/NCS mission are: Todd Clark, Rob Harrell, Bill Hinds, T Lewis, Glenn McCoy, Dave Mowder, John Read, Rob Smith Jr., and Debbie Schafer.

  1. I really like to see these kinds of events happen. Bringing the funny in not so funny times.

  2. Ditto – thanks and hope it goes well!
