First Cowboys and Aliens trailer to debut during Superbowl

“Cowboys and Aliens” director Jon Favreau has confirmed that the first trailer for the movie based on the graphic novel of the same title will debut during the Super Bowl. The movie is due out in July and stars Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Abigail Spencer, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Jon Favreau, Paul Dano, and Keith Carradine.

I was going to say I saw a trailer for this movie already.
But I guess what I saw was a TEASER TRAILER, whatever the hell that is.

I always thought teasers were very short trailers without much footage from the movie. Hence the name “teaser”. A trailer with footage from the movie doesn’t really tease any more than a slightly longer trailer with footage from the movie.

Semantics aside, I’m pretty excited for this movie.
