As usual, I’m taking the last week in December off and will not be blogging (much). Those who follow me on Twitter or Facebook may have caught that there will be changes coming to the site soon. I’ll be working on those changes this week, but realistically with family in town, and a new puppy (needing potty training) for Christmas, I’m not going to promise anything.
See you all back here on January 3.
Great job again with the site this year, Alan. Happy New Year.
Thanks for all your hard work this past year! Have a great vacation and I look forward to seeing your posts next year.
I can’t wait to see what your new vision for TDC is (to which you alluded on Twitter)! All the best in 2011…
Congratulations on your new (puppy) addition, Alan.

“He needs a vacation, let’s give a round of applause for a job well done!”…happy new year!
Thanks for this this labor of love, I know it costs you a lot in time. Why spend all of the extra time to have the Daily Cartoonist on Web, Twitter, and Facebook? Everyone can access your page on the Web. I can somewhat see the “alert” value of coupling with Twitter, but Facebook for the site seems difficult to rationalize.
It’s been an entertaining year. Thanks for all your efforts with the news and keeping a civilized discourse around here.
Kudos to Alan for all he has done and continues to do.
Just curious, did anyone receive a cool art-related gift this season be it book, video, tool, etc.? My wife gave me a DVD of the American Masters documentary, “Good Ol’ Charles Schulz.”
“…good grief, all i got was a rock” (winking up at Charles Schulz)
